What's New For the 2021 Nissan GT-R?
The Nissan GT-R hasn't gone through a full redesign for more than a decade. With its ability to deliver lightning-quick acceleration and sharp handling, it's not hard to see why. For 2021, the top-level NISMO shares virtually all its features with the lower-level Premium trim.
Available Features in the 2021 GT-R
This all-wheel sports coupe is split into Premium and NISMO trim levels for the 2021 model year. Two rows of leather-appointed seats-a driver's seat, a front passenger seat, and dual individual seats in the back-accommodate four people. The front seats include heating ability-with 8-way power-adjustable on the driver's seat and 4-way power-adjustable on the passenger seat. A leather-wrapped steering wheel adds to the aluminum-trimmed pedals and carbon-fiber and machined aluminum interior trim touches. Suede inserts and trim-exclusive Recaro leather set the NISMO apart from the Premium.
The NissanConnect 8-inch touchscreen interface presents infotainment on the GT-R. Present are components such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, hands-free text messaging, Bluetooth streaming audio and hands-free phone calling, two USB ports, a voice-activated navigation system, and three months of SiriusXM Radio, SiriusXM Traffic, and SiriusXM Travel Link.
There's also a driver-configurable multi-function display system with graphical readouts of vehicle and driving data displayed on six small screens in the dashboard. For comfort and convenience, the GT-R includes a smart key system, push-button engine start, a garage-door opener, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

How Much Power Does the Nissan GT-R Have?
True to form, the engine on the 2021 Nissan GT-R is a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6, which outputs 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. You can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 3 seconds. This engine has an optional tuning to 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque, that's standard on the NISMO trim. The engine is pinned to a dual-clutch 6-speed transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Technologies to Keep You Safe
The Nissan GT-R sticks to base-level driver-assistance technologies, offering features such as cruise control, a rearview camera with front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, traction control, and hill start assist as standards. Six airbags-dual front impact airbags, dual front seat-mounted side curtain airbags, and dual roof-mounted side curtain airbags-are on board to protect if there's a collision.
