On Edmunds.com's "17 Best Cars You Can Buy" list, the 2013 Altima was named "Best Midsize Sedan," beating out competitors like the Honda Accord and Ford Fusion.
Redesigned for the modern day, Altima is in its prime, sporting a sleek exterior with chrome accents that add a spark to the car's natural charm. Edmunds took this into consideration when choosing the Altima to grace its list, but their car experts were truly impressed by the sedan's fuel-efficient powertrains. Equipped with a continuously variable transmission, the Altima 2.5 achieved 39.7 mpg when given a 116-mile test drive by Edmunds, exceeding their expectations and earning it honorable praise. Along with its powertrains, the publication noted that the sedan offers a great balance of performance engagement, high-tech yet easy-to-use features, and overall refinement. To sum it up they stated, "In total, the Altima is the nicest to drive, the easiest to use and cheapest to fuel."
Being the best isn't easy, but Altima sure makes it look that way. Its seemingly effortless sophistication is underscored by years of precision engineering and state-of-the-art craftsmanship. So it's easy to understand why it continues to be one of the best-selling cars in the nation.
