Powertrain Warranty

Your Nissan Powertrain Warranty covers the expense of replacing powertrain components that fail or need to be replaced within the first 60 months that you own the vehicle or the first 60,000 miles on the odometer. The engine and transmission are covered and their related components, as is the car's safety equipment system.

Emissions Control

Emissions systems are also covered by Nissan's factory warranties. The Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail an approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Emission Defects warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship which would cause your vehicle not to meet applicable emission standards. This warranty is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, certain vital emission components are covered for up to 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first. New Vehicle Warranty

Nissan's New Vehicle Limited Warranty is a comprehensive plan that provides basic coverage for 36,000 miles or 36 months, whichever comes first. It covers costs required to repair or replace parts that wear out due to defects in materials or workmanship that may occur with normal use during the warranty period.

Corrosion Warranty

For the first 60 months of ownership, Nissan provides corrosion coverage for any body sheet metal panels damaged from rust perforation under normal circumstances, regardless of miles driven. Perforation is a condition in which any body sheet metal panel has corroded from one surface through to another. 

Seat Belt Warranty

If a seat belt in your Nissan fails to function properly within the first ten years that you own or drive the car, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. The Seat Belt Warranty applies to original parts installed by the manufacturer.

MPP Plans
