What's New For the 2022 Nissan Sentra?
New option packages arrive this year. The SV trim's available All-Weather package adds features that make winter driving more comfortable, including heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Meanwhile, blacked-out styling cues come with the SR trim's Midnight Edition package.
2022 Sentra Trims & Features
Nissan now offers the Sentra in S, SV, SR, and SR Midnight Edition trims. The base S model's value will appeal to a lot of car shoppers. Nissan's NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front seats promote great everyday comfort. Other standard equipment includes an 8.0-inch NissanConnect color touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a USB port.
A notch above the base model is the Sentra SV. It brings Nissan's rewarding Advanced Drive-Assist Display, which provides a 7.0-inch information screen located on the instrument cluster. Upgraded cloth upholstery, a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio are also found on the SV trim.
Drivers who desire more flair will like the racy-looking SR trim. A dark chrome V-Motion grille, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler give it a commanding presence. Unlike the other trims, it also adds LED headlights with LED signature daytime running lights. Other perks include dual-zone automatic climate control and remote start.
The newest trim to hit the lineup is the Sentra SR Midnight Edition. While it is equipped similar to the SR trim, exclusive black alloy wheels and blacked-out exterior treatments set it apart.

Nissan equips every new Sentra with the same economical powertrain. The sedan's 2.0-liter, DOHC four-cylinder engine develops a satisfying 149 horsepower. An Xtronic continuously variable transmission ensures a remarkably smooth performance. When more driving fun is desired, activate Sentra's exciting Sport mode. Meanwhile, a multi-link rear suspension promotes dynamic handling.
