What's New For the 2020 Nissan Maxima?

The iconic Maxima is back and ready to give drivers everything they are looking for in 2020. Joining the list of standard equipment for this year is the Safety Shield 360 package. Going with the SR trim level now gives drivers a surround-view camera as well as a panoramic sunroof. Minor changes to the ride and handling of all trim levels of the Maxima have made it even more exhilarating to drive than ever.

Which Features are Available for 2020?

It is easy to find the perfect version of the Maxima for an individual's needs, thanks to the fact that there are five trim options. The first one goes by the S. Standard for this trim is an 8-inch touchscreen that helps drivers run Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. This trim also has satellite radio that can be listened to on the eight-speaker stereo system. It even has leather on the steering wheel, something pretty impressive for an entry-level model.

Next up on the list is the SV, which includes leather seats, navigation, and heated front seats. Going with the SL trim means getting active cabin noise cancellation and an even more impressive BOSE sound system. The SR trim is sportier than the rest, adding paddle shifters and simulated suede seats. It also adds ventilation to the front seats. Going with the top-of-the-line Platinum trim gets drivers upgraded leather as well as memory settings for the driver seat and mirror positions.

Great Power and Fuel Economy

The engine is paired beautifully with a continuously variable transmission. All models are front-wheel-drive. Being the more athletic version of the vehicle, the SR gets a special sports-tuned suspension.
