What's New For the 2020 Nissan Armada?

The Nissan Armada gained several exciting features, such as a long list of standard safety features, just last year. For 2020, Nissan has given all trim levels heated mirrors. You also have the option to add a new 22-inch wheel option. This gives your Armada's wheel a unique style as well as useful all-season tires.

Which Trims & Features are Available in 2020?

The powerful yet peaceful Nissan Armada is available in four different trim levels. Sticking with the entry-level SV gives you an SUV that is loaded with great features for keeping everyone comfortable and entertained. Standard on this trim are heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustment for the front seats, and proximity keyless entry. Technology features include an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, navigation, HD radio, satellite radio, and a 13-speaker premium sound system.

Moving up to the SL trim level gives your Armada leather upholstery and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Outside, it gains fog lights and a power liftgate. The third option is known as the Platinum. Here the Armada gains a moonroof, rear entertainment system, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and ventilated front seats. The top-of-the-line Platinum Reserve trim gets unique style touches for its exterior and interior. It also gets an upgraded leather for the upholstery.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency

2020 Nissan ArmadaAll four of those great trim levels get the benefit of V8 power. This standard engine is capable of producing 390-horsepower. As a result, it can tow up to an impressive 8,500 pounds. This is also enough power to quickly move the Armada around town and lets you merge at highway speeds effortlessly. Paired with the engine is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive is considered standard, but you can upgrade any trim you like to all-wheel-drive if you'd prefer.

Safety Features in the Forefront for 2020

2020 Nissan ArmadaOne area that the Nissan Armada shines is safety features. Standard on all models are useful features such as adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and front and rear parking sensors. Available starting at the SL trim level is even more driver aids, such as a blind spot monitor featuring rear cross-traffic alert and reverse automatic braking. The Platinum trim level gains a rearview mirror camera as well.
