2019 Nissan Altima Interior

How Have the Five Trims Been Improved?

The 2019 Nissan Altima comes in five different trim levels: S, SR, SV, SL and Platinum. The new Altima is also lower, longer and wider than the 2018 model, and the interior features a wide "gliding wing" instrument panel, contributing to a more spacious design.

Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ come standard in the 2019 NissanConnectSM infotainment system, allowing drivers to make the most of the car's 8-inch multi-touch color display. Drivers can also choose to include a Bose® Premium Audio system, which features not only nine speakers but also a new digital amplifier with eight channels of custom equalization, as well as optional Active Noise Cancellation.

The 2019 sleek redesign also features a standard eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat and standard 60/40-split folding rear seat, plus optional leather seats and trim; seat, and steering wheel heating; and power passenger seat. Optional upgrades to the exterior include a single panel moonroof, V-motion grille, LED projector headlights, and even LED fog lights.

What's Under the Hood for 2019?

2019 Nissan Altima RearThe 2019 Altima comes standard with a 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct-injection engine, now with 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The new standard engine reduces noise, vibration, and harshness, and also has enhanced fuel economy and cleaner emissions when compared to the 2018 model's standard engine.

The Altima SR and Platinum grades are also available with the advanced 248 horsepower, 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine with 273 pound-feet of torque (front-wheel drive only). The new available turbo engine creates fewer emissions and has a greater fuel economy than that of the 2018 V6 model, plus the smaller engine takes up less space under the hood, contributing to the car's sleek redesign.

Which Safety Advancements are on the 2019 Altima?

2019 Nissan Altima Safety CameraThe 2019 Altima utilizes all of the safety features of the 2018 model, plus several exciting updates. The 2019 model is the first in its class to feature available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive--providing enhanced weather traction--as well as ProPilot Assist, which reduces driver workload in certain traffic conditions.

The 2019 model also comes with the standard rearview camera, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, and automatic emergency braking. A pedestrian-detection system, rear cross-traffic warning, and lane-departure warning are also optional for the safety-minded consumer. With its sporty new design, improved fuel economy, and enhanced safety features, the 2019 Nissan Altima is both stylish and sensible. Come test-drive the Nissan Altima today!
