Pursuing what you love to do in spite of adversity is admirable and in this particular case it's really quite astounding. The enclosed video captures footage of pro racer Bartosz Ostalowski driving with one foot in a drifting competition. His vehicle of choice is an R34 Nissan Skyline w/ automatic gearbox that's been specifically modified.
Bartosz may not have arms but that doesn't stop him from pulling off impressive drifting maneuvers at high speed. You have to see it to believe it and we have the video below for you to check out. He uses his left foot to steer, right foot to control the pedals and shoulder to shift gears on the automatic transmission with manual mode. In addition to drifting, he's competed in the Polish Championship Rally Raceway Cross and Polish Cup.
Bartosz lost both arms years ago in a motorcycle accident, but never lost interest in motorsports. Instead of giving up, he decided to pursue becoming a pro racecar driver. He's truly an inspiration, proving that with passion and determination, one can achieve their dreams despite the odds. And regardless of his disability, Bartosz is really good.
