Talk about frustrating: Imagine getting your neck broken when a cop car hits your vehicle, then being falsely charged for drunk driving when you were stone cold sober. Sounds like a nightmare, but that's exactly what happened to Milwaukee resident, Tanya Weyker, when she was T-boned by a sheriff's deputy.

Read on for details about her recent exoneration and check out the video below for more details!

It was over a year later that the officer involved, Joseph Quiles, changed his story and this only occurred after he was made aware of the fact that surveillance-video footage showed his squad car rolling through a stop before hitting Weyker's car. Additionally, less than a month after the accident, which took place in Feb. 2013, blood tests proved that Weyker was completely sober the night she was arrested. Unfortunately, even though this evidence was available shortly after the collision, it still took a whole year to clear up the situation, and during a period of that time Weyker received several threatening letters from the county that blamed her for the incident.

Today, she has been vindicated, but is still waiting for the county to help pay off a portion of her medical bills, which are approximately $1 million according to reports. She also recently filed a complaint against the deputy who arrested and charged her on five separate counts. It's notable to mention that the deputy who arrested her was not Quiles and that Quiles was only suspended for nine days, though he is on indefinite leave from his position due to injuries.
