GoPro cameras captured this insane video of a car crash unlike anything you've ever seen. When Guerlain Chicherit attempted to break a Guinness World Record for longest jump, he knew there was a chance he might not make it, but we're guessing he never expected this.
All we can say is: Thank goodness for roll cages. After taking off from a ramp at a speed nearing 160 kph (99 mph), Chicherit didn't quite nail his landing. Instead, his vehicle crashed spectacularly and rolled over several times for what looked like 100s of meters before coming to a stop.
Don't worry. The driver escaped with only minor injuries, but the GoPro footage is intense to say the least. Check it out now and fast forward to the 7:15 mark - where the action begins.
After the crash, Chicherit was immediately airlifted to a medical center and was lucky to make it out with only a few injuries. At the top of the film, the French daredevil says he would try again if he didn't break the world record for longest jump, but following a horrifying crash like this, we wonder if he'll second guess attempting the stunt again.
